Lost or broken garage door remote? Replacement remotes, wall buttons and wireless keypads supplied and coded across the southern Gold Coast.

Remotes go missing, get dropped, end up in the washing machine or simply stop working. We supply and code replacement remotes for most garage door openers used on the Gold Coast, along with wall buttons and wireless keypads.

If you've lost a remote, it's worth clearing the opener's memory and recoding the remotes you still have, so the lost one can't open your garage. We can do that on the same visit.

How we do it

  1. Identify the openerWe match the remote to your opener's make, model and code system.
  2. Clear if neededIf a remote is lost, we clear the opener's memory first.
  3. Code and testEach remote and keypad is coded and tested from the driveway.
  4. Check the rangeIf range is poor, we check the antenna and the opener's receiver.

Near the beach?

Remotes kept in cars near the beach pick up salt and moisture. If buttons get stiff or the range drops, a new battery fixes many problems; corroded contacts may need a new remote.

Remotes and keypads questions

My remote stopped working. Is it the battery?

Often. Try a new battery first. If the wall button opens the door but the remote doesn't, the remote may need recoding or replacing.

Can I buy a remote and code it myself?

Some remotes can be self-coded, but they must be the right type for your opener. We can supply the correct one and code it for you.

Can a keypad replace remotes?

A wireless keypad outside the door lets people in with a code, which suits families and tradespeople. Most households keep remotes for the car as well.
